Hub Location
The Turkish network.xls file contains the data on the 81 node Turkish network. The file includes different sheets presenting travel distances, travel times, flow, fixed link costs between 81 cities in Turkey and fixed hub costs for these cities. The distance, time and fixed hub costs are taken from Tan and Kara (2007). Flow data is calculated by the method presented in Çetiner, Sepil and Süral (2007), and the fixed link costs are taken from Alumur, Kara and Karaşan (2009).
The Republic of Turkey General Directorate of Highways declared an updated version of the Turkish network.xls with the inclusion of new highways. Thus, we updated the distance in kilometers and minutes matrices as of July 1st 2011. The travel times are calculated by dividing the distances to 90 (as the law states).
